Coronavirus: One death and 686 new cases confirmed in Ireland

As of Tuesday, 135,608 COVID-19 cases have been designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.

Dr Ronan Glynn, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health said hospital cases have reduced as people continue to comply with the ongoing Level 5 restrictions.

"This is the case whether at work, at school or at home", said health officials in a statement.

Meanwhile, 4,055 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing down the current number of active cases to 30,475, according to data shared by the Health Ministry in a social media post today.


Sadly, one additional death due to COVID-19 has been reported since our February 19 update; the total number of members of our community who have lost their lives to this deadly virus stands at 105. Three were from Bernalillo County.

Henry and Dix also reported two new health-care facility outbreaks at Vancouver General Hospital and Kelowna General Hospital, while several outbreaks have been declared over, including at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops and Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

He added that a second sample must be taken from close contacts of positive Covid-19 cases - on Day Eight of their 10-day home surveillance order. There is now a total of 215,743 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.

Five-hundred-fifteen who've contracted COVID-19 are 70-79 years old, and 291 are 80 and older. That patient was not on a ventilator nor in intensive care.


The Hawai'i Department of Health reported 47 new cases of coronavirus Tuesday, raising the statewide total to 27,270.

Twenty-eight county residents are now hospitalized by COVID-19 and there have been 724 total hospitalizations following the fluctuation between hospitalizations and hospital discharges reported on Friday.

"We expect that vaccine allocations will start to increase and we will be at a point where we will be vaccinating more and more folks over the next few weeks and we will be sharing this very regularly", said Catton.

Employers must ensure that their workers self-isolate pending the results of their mandatory Covid-19 screening, besides prohibiting workers who test positive for the coronavirus from going to work.
