UCLA Gymnast Nia Dennis Shows Black Excellence During Floor Routine

Nia Dennis's former UCLA gymnastics teammate Katelyn Ohashi also reached millions of likes with her own mashup of artists like Ike & Tina Turner, Earth, Wind & Fire, and a combination of the infamous Jackson family. The Guardian reported that Ohashi's mashup of 60s, 70s, and 80s music, alongside her incredible talent, earned her the flawless score of ten.

There's also music by Beyonce, Missy Elliott, Soulja Boy, Megan Thee Stallion and Tupac Shakur's "California Love". "I wanted to have a dance party because that's my personality", he said.

UCLA Gymnastics not only defeated Arizona State University this past weekend, but they are also getting lots of recognition this morning thanks to an fantastic floor routine done by Nia Dennis.

A UCLA Twitter account posted Dennis's presentation, and in just two days, it has already received over eight million hits and over 15,000 people signed up.

Following in thefootsteps of former teammate Katelyn Ohashi, the UCLA gymnast continues to dazzle celebrities and fans with her epic routines. "This routine definitely reflects who I am today as a woman and, of course, I had to incorporate many parts of my culture".

Not only did UCLA open their college season in victorious fashion over the weekend, they also gained worldwide attention for Dennis' magnificent floor routine. The All-American gymnast, who was part of the Bruins' 2018 national title team, went viral for a Beyonce-inspired floor routine previous year.

She established herself at the Senior International Elite Level in 2015 when she competed in the US National Gymnastics Championships against Olympians Aly Raisman and Simone Biles.
