Three tickets shared those winning numbers.

"We have not seen or heard from the victor", said Elkin, adding that Maryland is one a handful of states that allow lottery winners to remain anonymous.

The odds of a winning Mega Millions ticket are 1 in 302.5 million.

The figures may be adjusted depending on the value of tickets sold before the drawing.

Friday night's drawing comes two days after a ticket sold in Maryland matched all six numbers drawn and won a $731.1 million Powerball jackpot.

One ticket, purchased in MI, matched all six numbers: 4, 26, 42, 50, 60 and 24.

No tickets in NY matched four numbers + the Mega Ball for a $20,000 prize.

The winning numbers for Saturday's Powerball drawing were 14-20-39-65-67 with a Powerball of 02, according to the New York State Lottery website. The winning ticket was a Quick Pick, officials say. The ticket hit on all five numbers but not the Powerball. Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot has soared to $970 million after a record number of months have passed without a victor. One of these winning tickets won $2 million as the holder purchased a "Power Play" option.

The jackpot has been rolling since September 18, 2020, resulting in an estimated $970 million jackpot for the Friday, January 22 drawing.

Friday's Mega Millions drawing was held at 11 p.m. ET.

Despite the $1 billion jackpot, players selecting the lump-cash option will actually receive $739.6 million, according to USA Mega. Tickets cost $2 each.
