After the long wait, Sanjay Dutt's upcoming movie "Torbaaz" is slated for release on Netflix. The makers of "As Torbaaz" dropped the trailer today and hopefully the film is a gritty and engaging drama in the kind of time we are living. While doing so, he faces stiff opposition from the leader of a fundamentalist camp (played by Rahul Dev) who wants to use the refugee kids as suicide bombers. In August, the 61-year-old actor had announced that he would be taking a break from his professional commitments to focus on medical treatment, amid reports that he was battling lung cancer.

Actor Sanjay Dutt says he is grateful for the love and support he has received over the past few months, adding that he is excited to be back on screen. He captioned it, "It's when good people do nothing that the bad guys win!"

The film releases on Netflix on Dec 11.

After experiencing a tragedy of his own, Sanjay made it his life's mission to rise above his personal tragedy and change the lives of the children of the refugee camp. Helmed by Girish Malik, Torbaaz is a journey of redemption and rising from personal tragedy and the trailer does give a glimpse of the bruised past of Sanjay's character wherein he had lost his family in Afghanistan.
