The world just got a lot smaller, at least for players looking to see it all in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is a technological marvel and will likely remain one of the most revered games of the year.

As the name suggests, this update is available globally and provides new content related to the United States.

Two months ago, a Japan-focused update was released for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The package includes 48 brand new points of interest with full graphical detail, alongside some new airports.

It lets pilots check out the good ol' U.S. of A with an improved digital elevation model with resolution up to one meter, new aerial textures to improve individual state appearances, and four new airports in Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Friday Harbor, and NY. In a statement from the studio, it was also stated that many new aerial view textures have been added to the game.

In addition to the above, the update also features visual improvements to 48 other airports, 50 new high-fidelity points of interest (all located in the USA, of course), new activities on each cost (a Discovery Flight on the eastern side and a Bush Trip across the Alaskan wilderness).

Goofs aside, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more detailed and attractive flight simulator than what Microsoft has offered forth, with paid additional content and all.
