Lori Loughlin is spending two months in jail after she confessed being involved in the college admissions scandal.

Their imprisonment, however, has become a "nightmare" for their two daughters who had to see their parents go to jail just as the holiday season began.

Sources have come forward to say Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli's two daughters, 22 year-old Isabella and 21 year-old Olivia Jade, are struggling with the fact that both of their parents are in prison.

A source tells People that "It's just a nightmare for them". "Lori has been doing OK and has made several friends", the insider said. 'But to have both of their parents now in prison at the same time is very upsetting'.

"They are beyond anxious", the source adds of Olivia and Isabella.

The two daughters are "beyond worried" and are already hoping December comes fast so they could have their mom home. They try to focus on this'. On Oct. 30. Giannulli, meanwhile, reported to a federal prison in Lompoc near Santa Barbara, Calif. Mossimo Giannulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, as well as honest services mail and wire fraud. Actress Felicity Huffman was also among those who were brought up on charges.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are both serving time in prison.

And speaking of sources, another insider told Us Weekly that the actress has been a "wreck", while someone told People that Lori was "weepy" during her first night behind bars.

'She's using this time to focus on herself, but she's also interested in hearing the stories of the other inmates, ' the source says.

Lori previously asked to do her time on house arrest because of the coronavirus, but the judge denied her request because she had no health problems. "No one is bullying her", a legal source said. 'She realizes she's no better and no worse than any of them.

Loughlin is expected to be released by December 28.

Lori Loughlin had until November 19 to begin her sentence, but she chose to start it in October in the hopes of being out by Christmas. Giannulli is due out in April.
