WhatsApp recently introduced the much-awaited Disappearing Messages feature for all its users in India. Disappearing messages will be deleted when a user restores from a backup.

The feature is now available for all Android, iOS, KaiOS users in India.

Additionally, when a chat is placed into the Read Later section, the user will not receive notifications from that chat. Once this message is available you will be able to report a WhatsApp contact if they send unwanted messages. Although this is a first-stage feature for Android users, it is likely to come soon for iPhone users.

This functionality allows users to create a new WhatsApp Web session and confirm that it is them logging into the platform through the WhatsApp mobile app. This feature does not imply for forwarded messages. The feature is now being tested and will release soon. Moreover, content can also be copied and saved from disappearing messages before it disappears.

WhatsApp in an update on its support page explained how the feature would work. In this context, WhatsApp will bring a new feature that can be used to mute videos before uploading them to the status and sending them to a person.

It also set limits on how many times they can be sent at once to maintain the private nature of WhatsApp.
