After showing a brief gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X, today (24) CD Projekt Red released a video showing exclusively gameplay portions on PS4 Pro and PS5 (specifically from the beginning of the game).

Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 Gameplay Footage Revealed

CD Projekt Red has already given content creators a free license to stream gameplay or make videos based around any of its games, but of course, licensed soundtracks are a different scenario. The gameplay is showcased originally on PS4 Pro, but transitions to PS5 footage about halfway through the video. At that point, the difference between the two versions of the game may become more stark.

Addressing the looming question of the fans, CD Projekt RED (CDPR) has assured all the fans that the game will be available on both next-gen and previous-gen consoles. Beginning the story outside of Night City, it looks like players who choose this path will be in for some really good stuff as they are immediately working to transport some kind of illegal goods to the city. The footage shows off the security guarding Night City's borders, as well as glimpses of the Nomad settlements which exist outside the city.

While the PS5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 has yet to be revealed, the game definitely looks better on the next-gen system, so those of you with the console won't regret playing it on there. (Although, to be fair, the game had gone gold prior to the last delay, which pushed the release date from late-November to early-December).
