COVID-19 Case At Rothesay High

"Anyone who has not received a phone call from public health officials is asked to continue to attend school and to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms as per BCCDC guidelines noted in the daily health check form", said SD69.

The student rode Bus #3 in the district, and school officials are urging students who were also on that bus to quarantine, due to potential exposure.

Students at the high school and Harrold originally were supposed to return to in-person classes December 1.

Since coronavirus numbers were reported by the district last week, there has been an uptick in cases.

The case, identified at St. Michael Catholic Elementary School, was posted to the school's website on Sunday.

The confirmed positive cases within Central Dauphin schools remains low in comparison to the number of students in the district's 19 buildings, but the email did also confirm a rising number of cases among the staff and student body. All elementary schools in the district remain open this week.

The directive is in effect for all public schools in counties that have experienced a "substantial" level of transmission for at least two consecutive weeks.

Lewisburg Area School District: All schools in the district are moving to remote instruction Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24.

There have been a total of 7 positive cases, including recent cases at Fuller Middle and King Elementary.

"We recognize the challenge this creates for families and will provide as much advance notice as possible", she said.
