One director apparently insulted "Euphoria" star Lukas Cage's apartment during a Zoom audition, though the 25-year-old expertly clapped back at him.

He continues: "I know, it's a s***ty apartment". While we are dying to know, it's probably a good idea just in case she somehow got that one wrong.

But it turns out a Hollywood casting director temporarily forgot this golden rule, when he was caught bad-mouthing an actor's apartment mid-meeting. "It's fine, just give me the job, and we'll be fine". The 40-year-old director of the virgin Judd Apatow replied: "As a young man I would have dreamed of an apartment like this".

Fans quickly sighed behind the actor as one said, "I don't see how people can talk about other people's living conditions". "Like I'm looking at his background and he's got his TV and".

"Yeah, I'm muted", Gage answers. "PSA If you're a ** T talking director, be sure to mute the ur sheet on Zoom Amtings", he said.

A slew of celebrities left comments on Lukas' Instagram.

While some tried to guess the identity of the director, Shameless star Emmy Rossum had a guess, according to Today: "If it's who I'm thinking, he asked me to "audition" for him once". But not to read a scene. "I am mortified." Maybe the director really was sorry (I'm sure he was), but his tone isn't exactly apologetic. Wilmer Valderrama wrote, "You're a class act".

Aceshobiz - One might need to know the exact design of the zoom in this new age where nearly everything was done. "Heard him talk many times and January Jones confirms it". "Handled like a champ", Jonas commented on Gage's post on Instagram with a thumbs-up emoji. "Your apt looks pretty great to me and honestly, f that dude, he doesn't deserve to work with someone like you". From that date, this director officially has an expiration date. "What a lousy thing for him to say. and here you are putting yourself out there for your audition. vulnerable. wanting to get the part etc".
