Justin Bieber has released the music video for his brand new song "Lonely" and it features the talented young actor Jacob Tremblay playing a younger version of the singer!

"Lonely" pays homage to the trials and tribulations of growing up as a child-star, something that Justin Bieber understands far too well after being in the public eye since he was 13-years-old.

A glum-looking Tremblay is seated alone in a cavernous dressing room before geeing himself up to take to the stage in front of an almost-empty venue. The clip ends with a shot of a stone-faced grownup Bieber, watching on.

The music video for "Lonely" (directed by Jake Schreier) has just dropped on Youtube and in its first four hours, has already accumulated over a million views.

The heartbreaking chorus goes: "What if you had it all, but nobody to call? Maybe then you'd know me, 'Cause I've had everything, but no one's listening".

On Twitter, Bieber known as Tremblay "so gifted", and mentioned it was an emotional expertise "to see him play me from the skin wanting in". Still, the Canadian superstar admits, it's hard to rewatch the video.

The singer has kept busy this month, dropping a collaboration with Crocs and hopping into bed with wife Hailey Baldwin for the cover of Vogue Italia.
