The hilarious trailer to Borat 2 released Thursday reveals Sacha Baron Cohen was the Trump impersonator who crashed Mike Pence's CPAC speech. Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan being hugely successful both critically and commercially, there had never been any talk of a sequel.

Borat 2 - or rather by its official title, Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premier Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan - has just been acquired by Amazon Prime Video with a scheduled release date of late October.

And would anybody even care about the return of Borat, after the lukewarm response to most of Baron Cohen's subsequent work? The actor reprises his role as Kazakhstani television personality Borat Sagdiyev, who in the film is going to America for a new "mission".

He is seen shopping for a Halloween costume, being pulled over by police for having a woman strapped to the roof of his vehicle, quarantining in a cabin during the pandemic, and approaching Pence at a speaking engagement while dressed as US President Donald Trump. Cohen has kind of advertised the movie here.

The audience drowned out Baron Cohen with chants of "USA!" We know he's visited Alabama before, both in the first Borat movie as well as on "Da Ali G Show", when he appeared at an Alabama football game as Bruno.

However, the comic was able to maintain the fact that he had been creating a new movie starring his Kazakh clown key, despite being seen in personality or dressed as Donald Trump in different rallies earlier this season.

The film has apparently been kept under wraps up until now, which is surprising considering that filming takes place in public places, with Baron Cohen interviewing various public figures and people under the guise of his character Borat.
