However, under the original announcement, the Xbox ANZ account was tagged @PureNewZealand, the official Twitter account for tourism in New Zealand.

The New Zealand account does clarify that this is an event that can be followed all over the world and that more information will be revealed during the upcoming weeks. This will be available as a free upgrade for those that already own Halo: The Master Chief Collection, as well as available for those with Xbox Game Pass.

Excited to share that Halo Master Chief Collection will be fully optimized this holiday including 120fps campaign & multiplayer on both Xbox Series X & S. Also cross-gen play & adjustable FOV. There will also be split-screen improvements and upgrades to 4K on the Xbox Series X.

While Halo: Infinite has been pushed back into 2021, in the meantime players will still be able to enjoy the classic titles on the Xbox Series X and PC.
