United, on the other, have refused to pay such a high amount, especially under the current COVID-19 circumstances.

United agreed terms with the 20-year-old player and his representatives last week, but Dortmund are refusing to accept anything below their £108m valuation. Sources have, however, stated that both clubs are still working towards agreeing a deal for the player.

However, Manchester United don't think they are in the running for the player.

The Daily Star, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Manchester United are weighing up a bid to sign the Wales worldwide in the 2020 summer transfer window. Dortmund coach Favre also joined the chorus and suggested that there was no chance Sancho will be leaving the club this season.

"We need him, no question".

Favre is working with several exciting youngsters at Dortmund. "He scores and sets up a lot of goals and can often make all the difference, but there are some details that Sancho needs to improve".

17-YEAR-OLD Jude Bellingham scored on his debut for Borussia Dortmund in a 5-0 victory over third division Duisburg in the first round of the German Cup on Monday.

It looks like Sancho will stay in Germany for another year after months and months of negotiations that never developed. United were heavily linked with Norwegian striker Erling Braut Haaland.

The Red Devils are ready to give up on signing the Borussia Dortmund forward after being quoted £100million-plus for the England global.

The reports indicate that Solskjaer's side are considering loan moves for Ivan Perisic, Gareth Bale and Douglas Costa but that would only happen if they can't get Sancho with a section of the club fans still of the belief that the deal will happen before the window closes.
