The media panel selected five players for the NBA All-Rookie First Team and five players for the NBA All-Rookie Second Team at any position.

The All-Rookie Second Team includes Heat guard Tyler Herro; Toronto Raptors guard Terence Davis; Chicago Bulls guard Coby White; Charlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington; and Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura.

Nunn, who played in the National Basketball Association G-League last season, is the first Miami player to make it to the All-Rookie First Team since Michael Beasley in 2009.

Over 72 games, Davis averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16.8 minutes while ranking fifth in rookie 3-point percentage at 38.8.

Memphis's Ja Morant, who won the league's rookie of the year honour, was named to the league's First Team alongside teammate Brandon Clarke, Miami's Kendrick Nunn, Golden State's Eric Paschall and New Orleans' Zion Williamson.

Paschall, who was the No. 41 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, had a few words to say after being named to the All-Rookie First Team. The young guard was fifth among rookies in three-point percentage at almost 39 per cent and eighth in field goal percentage (.456).
