Progress on both projects is going "super well", with "beautiful new things" coming soon for the two games.

"Today is very special for me", Ancel says. In the meantime, it's good to hear all is well with Beyond Good and Evil 2. Ancel assured fans that both games are still in the works, and that the development teams have been "autonomous" for many months now and that the projects are going "super well". Brunier made clear his appreciation for the work that the creator put in: "For years, Michel imparted his creative vision and helped us remain faithful to BG&E's incredible universe". The post thanks Ancel for his work and claims that the team intends to "remain true" to the creative vision he set up moving forward. It seems that his passion project will continue on without him.

We wish Michel Ancel all the best with his future endeavours!

Speaking Ubisoft's official website, senior producer for Beyond Good & Evil 2, Guillaume Brunier, revealed that Ancel hasn't been directly involved production of the game for some time now, but the team have been hard at building on the foundation that he established years prior. Ubisoft says the dev team "recently passed an important internal milestone" in development, with a new build that offers several hours of gameplay and a seamless "online sandbox". "I'm incredibly proud of the team's perseverance, dedication to each other and ongoing commitment to developing an incredible game". I'm incredibly proud of the team's perseverance, dedication to each other and ongoing commitment to developing an awesome game.
