The baby is due in early 2021, the Royal Family members say. Earlier today, she took to her social media account and confirmed that she and Jack are expecting their firstborn.

The picture shared with the post showed Eugenie holding up an pair of teddybear baby shoes. Eugenie captioned the photo.

Princess Eugenie has announced she's expecting her first child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.

The tweet says, "The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news".

The exciting royal baby announcement also comes just days after Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice, visited an exhibition of her wedding dress, a gorgeous vintage gown that she borrowed from her grandmother the Queen, as it went on display at Windsor Castle.

Eugenie and Brooksbank tied the knot in the same year as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
