Just like the OnePlus 7T from previous year, the company is going to introduce a new camera module at the back. Here is the new information about the device that had been confirmed and certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The camera is getting a slight bump from 4300mAh on the OnePlus 8 to 4500mAh on the OnePlus 8T. The smartphone is supposed to be slightly wider than the OnePlus 8.

It is also believed the next Nord will have the same back camera setup as the current model - a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper, a 2MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.

Other specs include a Snapdragon 865 processor, though, there appears to be a disagreement between leakers of whether it's the Plus variant of that chip.

The OnePlus Nord comes with a starting price tag of Rs 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, Rs 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and Rs 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. Apart from this, the OnePlus 8T is also speculated to run the latest version of OxygenOS based on Android 10.

The OnePlus 8 arrived with just 30W wired charging which was a surprise to many given that their sister company OPPO used 65W charging in their flagship and that OnePlus have had 30W charging for several years now. On the front we see a screen that doesn't seem to be curved, and is rumored to be a 6.55-inch 1080x2400 120Hz AMOLED. It should be a significant difference over Warp Charge 30T on current OnePlus phones. The slider button and power on/off button is at the right side.

On the connectivity front, it offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, NFC, GPS, and a Type-C port.

It's September and in the midst of a dozen smartphone launches, OnePlus is expected to come up with the 8T.
