Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are using their voice passionately than ever before in the run-up to the presidential elections 2020.

"Every four years, we're told the same thing, 'This is the most important election of our lifetime.' But this one is".

Members of the royal family are expected to remain neutral with their politics and her husband Prince Harry has never been publicly involved in the political world.

In the video, the couple urged people to vote in Novembers election. According to a "close friend" of Meghan's who spoke to Vanity Fair's royal reporter Katie Nicholl, "One of the reasons she was so keen not to give up her American citizenship was so she had the option to go into politics".

Rumours have always been circulating that Hollywood native Meghan Markle may have her eye on America's number one job; however, the ex-actress's representatives have never confirmed these alleged ambitions.

"As we approach this November, it's vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity".

Markle has also been cold-calling voters with Gloria Steinem, encouraging them to vote. But this latest move by the royal couple has lead to questions about whether she is making her political inclinations known to the public.

Responding to the clip, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said Meghan's remarks "make sense" and came at no real surprise. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been working on projects that could help them earn a living, it is reported that the former Suits actress has her eyes on the White House. In a 2016 interview with Larry Wilmore, she called Trump "misogynist, and so vocal about it".

The US president blasted the two, saying he is not a fan of Meghan.

He said: "I think the fact that she is urging Americans to vote is totally in line with what she is able to do in the position that she finds herself in".

The expert told Express.co.uk: "Looking very broadly to the future, we know what she believes, we know she would be an ideal Democratic Party Congresswoman, or perhaps even higher who knows". The rumours of her possible presidential run come just days after US President Donald Trump took a jibe at Meghan.

Well, there goes that dream.
