Aston Villa are another club who are monitoring Sarr but whether they would be able to compete financially with Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund remains to be seen.

But with the transfer window drawing to a close on October 5 and a deal looking impossible now, the Red Devils are reportedly preparing a final bid to test Dortmund's patience and coax them into selling Sancho this summer.

United have been chasing Sancho throughout the summer after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the England global his prime transfer target as he looks to strengthen his attacking options for the new campaign. There is no doubt that he is a world-class winger and he would improve Manchester United immensely.

However, they would face competition for the Watford star with Manchester United also interested if they are unable to land Sancho.

However, negotiations between all parties have continued in recent weeks and the Daily Star claims United's executive vice chairman Ed Woodward will submit a final take-it-or-leave-it offer next week in the hope of finally landing the attacker.

The Daily Record is reporting that Manchester United progressed talks with FC Barcelona about a potential transfer swoop to sign the 23-year-old in the 2020 summer transfer window.

Dortmund had been holding out for 108m Pounds for Sancho and have refused to lower their valuation of the player leaving both clubs far from reaching an agreement.

Manchester United have a deal in place with Sancho and his representatives over his salary and agents fees.
