How to get free Fortnite rewards in Rocket League Llama-Rama

The update, in addition to preparing the ground for its new stage as free-to-play, will offer new features and improvements.

For those unaware, Rocket League is a Vehicle Football (soccer) game that is developed and published by Psyonix. It is a good way for Epic to introduce their baked in Fortnite fanbase to a the latest free to play game that will be available on the Epic Games Store. For the latter, Challenges will no longer be a part of Rocket Pass, but will now be counted across the entire game.

There are essentially two phases to the Rocket League free-to-play update. Rocket League includes casual and competitive Online Matches, a fully-featured offline Season Mode, special "Mutators" that let you change the rules entirely, hockey and basketball-inspired Extra Modes, and more than 500 trillion possible cosmetic customization combinations. Current Rocket League owners will also receive their Legacy Status and all of the items and goodies that come along with it. Players who download the game off the Epic Games Store between September 23 and October 23.

The Rocket League free-to-play release date is September 23, 2020.


One final reminder: Rocket League was already a game that had its fair share of microtransactions. If you do decide to jump in, you should expect to see a storefront to buy cosmetics for tricking out your rocket-powered vehicle. Once you've done so, you can access the Rocket League items you've unlocked across all platforms.
