Apple looks to widen the gap with all new Apple Watch models

The primary focus was on the Apple Watch, as evidenced by the "Time Flies" catchphrase that was introduced with the invitations. Finally, Apple is releasing a new leather link strap.

The new Apple Watch models and the eighth-generation ‌iPad‌ can be purchased from Apple starting today, while the ‌iPad‌ Air will be available in October.

The Series 5 already implemented an always-on display for the first time, but with the new Apple Watch, that AOD will be a bit brighter and easier to see. New Apple Watch buyers will get access to Apple Fitness+ for free for 3 months.

The blood oxygen level monitoring feature on the Watch Series 6 completes the process in about 15 seconds.


The price for the Apple Watch Series 6 starts at $399, while the cheaper Watch SE starts at $279.

In addition, Apple is announcing a new strap called the "Solo Loop" that is made from one piece of silicone, without any buckles or adjustments.

IPad today is now cheaper at $499 than previous year, and under the hood is faster and just all-round better.

Apple One - With many different services available, it was only a matter of time for Apple to bundle them together.

Unlike the ECG feature which was announced a while back but is still not available to Australians, the Blood Oxygen level check will be available at launch.

Through the app, you can select the workout you want to do, the trainer you want to work with, the time you want to spend on your workout, and the music you want to listen to from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
