Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 20 (ANI): After actor Payal Ghosh accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment, actor Kangana Ranaut on Sunday said that many big heroes had done that to her too. She took to her Instagram page and shared a screenshot of Anurag's tweet where he cleared his stand on the whole controversy. Referring to Kashyap as a demon, Ghosh also appealed to PM Modi to take action.

Actress Payal Ghosh, who has earlier worked in films like Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi and Prayanam, had accused the director in an interview to ABP Telugu of forcing him on her.

The Bombay Velvet director took to Twitter to say, "What happened, you took a long time to attempt to silence me". Never a bid to silence me, you have dragged another woman in this, despite being a woman. Please maintain some dignity, madam. "All I want to say is all allegations are baseless".

"As far as I know Anurag self admittedly has never been monogamous even when he was married to various people, what Anurag did to Payal is a common practice in Bullywood, treating struggling outsider girls like sex workers comes naturally to them", the actress added.

Taking note of Ghosh's accusations, National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma sought a detailed complaint from Ghosh and assured the 30-year-old actor that she would look into it.

Actor Kangana Ranaut talked about being sexually harassed at the hands of men in the film industry in her latest tweets. "Whether it was my first wife or the second, or any other lover, or the many actresses I have worked with, or that team of girls and women who has always been working with me, or the many women who I met in private or in public". If everybody spends the energy which they use in hating others constructively this world will be a better place.
