Having previously launched on Oculus and other VR systems in May 2019, this will mark the game's debut on the PlayStation VR system, and with it came an August 25, 2020 launch date.

The PlayStation VR version of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, which includes all three episodes, will launch on August 25, developer ILMxLAB announced. While managing to get players excited, it was still not enough to get everybody completely sold on Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series. "This allows even more fans to experience the first Star Wars story designed exclusively for virtual reality", said Harvey Whitney, Producer at ILMxLAB in a statement.

We got an all-new look at Vader Immortal's PSVR gameplay during the August PlayStation State of Play, including a release date this month.

A three-party experience, Vader: Immortal takes place on the lava-drenched planet of Mustafar, which also houses Darth Vader's fortress.

The gane series consists of three episodes and a dojo to train your lightsaber skills in. The VR experience is considered a canonical part of the Star Wars galaxy, and is described as a "cinematic, narrative adventure connected to the events of Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire - also produced by ILMxLAB - and is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope". While it has his name on the spread, you don't play as Darth Vader himself yet rather are thrown in the job of a runner working close Mustafar. However, if you're a Star Wars fan and you want to stand in the remarkable existence of Darth Vader, the game's move to PSVR is a new chance to do just that.
