After a year of waiting, it's finally happening.

The Weeknd takes a different approach with his lady. "I want you to prosper and come proper even if that means I ain't by your side", Juice WRLD sings, with that familiar depth of vulnerability that made the late rapper a household name. "I'd do anything in my power to see you just smile", he raps.

The Weeknd teased "SMILE" earlier this week, a special tag-team with the rising hip-hop star Juice WRLD who died last December from an accidental overdose, aged just 21. Prior to his untimely death previous year, he tweeted about making music with Tesfaye, suggesting they "would make a diamond record".

"XO + 999 Thursday Night", The Weeknd captioned an IG post on Tuesday (Aug. 4). It came as a comfort to hear Juice WRLD's one-of-a-kind voice immediately kick off the song, which fans have been missing. All proceeds from the song will go to the Equal Justice Initiative.

The highly anticipated collaboration between Juice WRLD and The Weeknd has arrived with "Smile".

Juice WRLD's career was short-lived, but he'd already impressed so many people with his talent.
