The Batman: Dave Bautista Tried His Best to Play Bane

Bautista's tweet follows a rather optimistic December 2019 tweet in which the actor hinted at a part in a Warner Bros. movie with a black-and-white photo of the studio's offices with the caption, "It won't come to you so get after it!"

"The Batman", directed by Reeves, will star Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, with Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell rounding out the cast.

There were recent rumours going around that Bane might be included in The Batman.

Tom Hardy recently played Bane for Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Rises. "#DreamChaser." That tweet led many fans to hope he would be putting on the Bane mask. The 51-year-old admitted as much on Twitter on Friday, responding to speculation that he might be in contention to play the villainous Bane by saying that it wasn't true, but he had tried his best to be cast.
