On the other hand, the Z8H 8K TV can output 8K resolution images, and support games running at up to 120FPS on 4K resolution. Meanwhile, the ZH8 is capable of displaying incredibly detailed 8K resolution images while also showcasing 4K resolution gameplay images at super-smooth 120 fps. Sony knows this, and so the company is launching new Bravia models that are clearly marked as "Ready for PlayStation 5".

As spotted by GameSpot, Sony has picked Bravia Z90H and Z8H series for the campaign, reminding players that "we're at the dawn of a new era in gaming", and that they can experience "4K/120fps, new on PS5 with a compatible Bravia television".

Both sets will have BRAVIA Game Mode, which allows users to automatically play games on the PS5 console with low latency. The DualSense controller can also be used to wake the TV and the PS5, as well as using the pads to control the TV itself.

For the 55-inch model, X900H will cost $999, while the 85-inch one comes for $2,799.

Preorders for Sony's PS5 are rumored to begin in August ahead of a November release date.

The PS5-friendly designation is being applied to one 4K model line and one 8K model, both of which boast features that are uniquely suited to the new console's high-resolution, high-frame rate gaming and next-gen capabilities.
