Meanwhile in the second BuzzFeed article, in which 36 former employees spoke out about alleged incidents of harassment and sexual misconduct, head writer and executive producer Kevin Leman specifically came under fire. "It is honestly sad", wrote Hart. "She makes the world a better place for millions of people everyday and we can not hit her because something may have not been flawless".

"It's insane to see my friend go thru what she's going thru publicly", said K Hart on Instagram. "She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day 1". "Hopefully it goes out of style soon", notes Hart. "When my wife and I lost our sweet son Scotland, Ellen gave me a warm hug, and whispered "I love you" into my ear as I nearly broke down in front of the audience".

Meanwhile, more former staff on the Ellen show are speaking out about negative experiences working there.

"I know I can't speak for anyone else's experience besides my own but I want to acknowledge that I have only ever had positive takeaways from my time with Ellen and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show", tweeted Katy Perry, adding, "I think we all have witnessed the light and continual fight for equality that she has brought on the world through her platform for decades".

Hart wrote that it's been "crazy to see my friend go thru what she's going thru publicly", referring to The Ellen DeGeneres Show being under investigation amid claims of it being a toxic work environment. "I have been getting calls asking me about the Ellen Degeneres Show and I would like to address the time I spent there", Okungbowa began in his caption, alongside a photo of himself on the set of the daytime talk show.

The Academy Award-winning star took a stand for DeGeneres, saying on Instagram: "I ALWAYS ENJOYED MY VISITS TO THE ELLEN SHOW". I've seen how the audience exudes happiness and gratitude.

He continued and said: 'I stand by the ones that I know and that I love.

'Clearly some didn't. That will now change and I'm committed to ensuring this does not happen again.

Others allege they were inappropriately touched by producer Ed Glavin, who is reportedly parting ways with The Ellen Show. "I'll never stop being grateful for that, but more importantly she's NEVER stopped making life better and easier for all kinds of people".

Speculation had been rife that the 62-year-old host could be replaced on the programme due to the scandal but now a production source has told TODAY that "no one is stepping in or taking over".
