Some players encounter a server connection issue when they first attempt to jump into the game, primarily those playing on consoles.

The game's close integration with Ubisoft's CrownCast Twitch add-on allows viewers to vote on in-game events that can change the course of a match. It increases the variety in each match and ensures every round of Hyper Scape is slightly different than the last one you played. They need to log into their Uplay account before connecting to the game.

One link-up feature Hyper Scape players won't have to wait for is cross-progression; Ubisoft's battle royale already boasts the multi-platform leveling system.

If you do want to test out GeForce Now for the long term though, then for a limited time, there is a 6-month GeForce Now membership bundle that includes Hyper Scape content. Since this is a free to play game, it is immediately available without any additional downloads to Free-tier users and Founder's Edition subscribers.

The Hyper Scape release date has been set for Tuesday, August 11, across PS4, Xbox One and PC.

No, Hyper Scape is not on Steam. Meanwhile, a new weapon in the shape of the DragonFly has been added, which takes the form of a silenced, semiautomatic precision rifle. Until the inevitable release of crossplay, players can switch between their consoles and PC while picking up where they left their progress.

"Season 1, titled "The First Principle", will introduce new limited-time game modes, a new weapon and hack, new features for Crowncast (Hyper Scape's interactive Twitch extension), and provide insight into the lore and universe of Hyper Scape".

In addition to becoming available on more platforms, the release also marked the start of the first Hyper Scape season. This includes any rewards received for watching Crowncast-enabled Twitch streams, and in-game prizes handed out for wins and top placements.
