But now, courtesy of reliable tipster, Jon Prosser, who has never gotten a product announcement date wrong, we know the release date and the date of availability of Apple's upcoming new products, which include iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, new Apple Watch, and a new iPad. If this alleged information reflects the truth, a very different structure from previous iPhone activities will have emerged in 2020.

Jon Prosser is famous for providing accurate leaks related to Apple devices. He further reveals that Apple will not organise a launch event for these two products and will launch them via press release. Later, another event will be held in October.

What do you think about Apple launching the iPhone 12 lineup in mid-October and the iPhone 12 Pro lineup in November? Prosser said that Apple could launch the iPhone 12 models during an October 12 event while the pre-orders the following week and shipping would begin from October 19.

All iPhone 12 handsets will be equipped with 5G connectivity feature, according to various media reports.

Some pre-orders launch the same week - we are predicting Friday, Oct 16.

iPhone 12 Pro will have a quad-camera setup at the rear. The iPhone 12 Pro won't be available till November so there is a long time for that.

Prosser does not rule out the possibility of the dates changing especially since there is uncertainty on the release date of the iPhone 12 Pro, but for now, "this is the date in the system". It is stated that there may be a delay in the production and shipment of the models named as Pro compared to other models.

Apple has confirmed that the new 2020 iPhones may not launch in September, the time the Cupertino-headquartered company usually does. A fresh leak suggests that the iPhone 12 series is expected to be unveiled in October this year, with the launch event sometime in the week starting October 12. As a matter of fact, it is worth noting that these allegations may reflect the truth.
