EMU's remaining nonconference games are a home tilt with Coastal Carolina on September 12, which could now serve as the season opener, and a Week 7 trip to Army.

"The 10-game SEC schedule provides us the best opportunity to play football as safely as possible in a Covid environment", Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity said.

Yet, there will be no SC vs. Clemson or Georgia vs. Georgia Tech this season because the SEC isn't allowing nonconference games. The Canes will travel to Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

All the schools will have an open date in the middle of the season, and the SEC Championship Game won't be played until December 19. There will be no divisions within the conference.
