Super Bowl champion, and quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes has taken a stake in another team.

There he is: New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas clocked in at the No. 5 spot in the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2020, and his fellow players had only strong endorsements to offer him. Colin lists reasons why Mahomes still has room to grow as a QB, and reveals which quarterbacks he thinks should have ranked over the Super Bowl winning quarterback. The stop effect is a perceived slight of Mahomes, and it certainly will give him a nutritious kick in the butt at a time when kicks in the butt would usually be hard to obtain. To top it off, it was renewed two years before his current contract expires and is worth as much as $503 million, making him one of the most valuable players ever in any sport. The number three spot went to Aaron Donald, a defensive tackle for the LA Rams.

Every offseason, the NFL Network releases its Top 100 players list right before the start of training camp to get fans fired up for the coming season and to spur debates. He doesn't seem to be too broken up over it, nor should he be - he knows who he is and where he's going.

He followed that up with a historic extension, then he bought a Ferrari and became part owner of the Kansas City Royals.
