GI Joe: Operation Blackout Announced for PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC

Operation Blackout is a new team-based third-person shooter based on the original comic book series.

Add another title to the jam-packed fall lineup, as a G.I Joe game will finally be hitting the current generation of consoles. Operation Blackout is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on October 13. We will discuss all the details we have about his new entertaining game so far so read on below for more details.


What we do have is a debut, disclose preview, that includes with IGN, that reveals that the overall game enables players to pick from 12 playable characters across maybe not just crew Joe, but staff Cobra. The game's developer, Game Mill Entertainment, has mentioned that a story will be played "from both sides". It will have 18 missions in a single-player campaign and can also play via local split-screen co-op.

What is the gameplay of G.I.Joe: Operation Blackout?


There will be a typical multiplayer experience featuring at least Capture the Flag, Assault, and King of the Hill, and each character will have unique abilities and customizable weapons and appearance. The game is going to take you to Cobra Headquarters and U.S.S Flagg and there are a total of 18 characters and you have to play according to different ideas and techniques.
