Rhea Chakraborty is the prime accused in the case filed by Sushant's father who alleges that she abetted the suicide of the actor, extorted money, and also tried to distance him from the family. Rhea later filed a plea in the Supreme Court requesting the transfer of the case to Mumbai. Riya Chakraborty, along with her brother Shouvik Chakraborty, reached the ED office for questioning on Friday.

Rajput's friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani have also been called by the ED to appear on Saturday in connection with this money laundering case that stems from a complaint filed by the actor's father with the Bihar Police in connection with his death.

However, the ED rejected her request. However, earlier than that, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was speculated to query the actress today however it appears that evidently Rhea has requested for a postponement. "They had all documents in their possession, including IT Returns". She has nothing to hide. He may be called again next week for a second round of questioning.

The ED also questioned Rhea about her investment in properties including movable and immovable assets and asked about how these properties were bought in Mumbai and from where the money was arranged to buy them.

In the FIR, it is alleged that Rs 15 crore was siphoned off from Sushant's account in one year "to bank accounts of persons not known or connected to the late actor". Counsel also said that the Bihar Police's actions are "politically motivated" and insisted that under the CrPC, it is only the Mumbai Police that has "duty, power and function to register the case". Singh's complaint seeks a probe into all accounts held by Sushant and his credit cards to see if any amount was transferred to Chakraborty or others associated with her.

These money have been extracted from Sushant's account and where these money went, ED wants to get information about it.
