A week after releasing, Fall Guys is already one the biggest success story of the year.

The new game from publisher Devolver Digital has already accumulated 2 million sales on PC since it was released on August 4.

This weekend, Fall Guys reached a peak player count of 124,772, beating out Grand Theft Auto V, which peaked at 116,862 players today.

However, we'd be inclined to say that the game is more likely to come to Playstation 5 first as its currently available on PS4 right now, and not on Xbox. This week, a newcomer has broken the ranks of Steam's most concurrent players, with Fall Guys gaining more concurrent users than Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six Siege, Destiny 2 and other huge games. "Still, there is a very promising kernel at the core of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout". Also a smash hit on social media, Fall Guys has clocked up over 23 million collective hours of viewing time on streaming services.

The massively multiplayer party game that is "Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout" can have up to 60 players engaged in a free-for-all struggle through round after round of escalating chaos until one victor remains. Mediatonic, which also said it's getting better at catching cheaters, promises there'll be even more levels soon, along with additional features and costumes.

The game had some major online issues in its first days, however Mediatonic was able to resolve a lot of them. Unhappy players have taken to Twitter, Reddit, Steam, and beyond to voice their displeasure over this development.
