Reaching hundreds of thousands of people in a short period of time, the tweet has received about 120 thousand likes, almost 20 thousand retweets and more than 6 thousand responses, even if it is only 2 hours since it was shared. I invite you and Space X to explore the writings about how the pyramids were built and also to check out the tombs of the pyramid builders.

After seeing his posts, Egypt's Minister of International Co-operation, Rania al-Mashat, invited him to come visit the landmarks and see the actual tombs of the people who built them, hinting that they weren't aliens.

"I follow your work with a lot of admiration", she said.

Mr Musk did later tweet a link to a BBC History site about the lives of the pyramid builders, saying: "This BBC article provides a sensible summary for how it was done".

However, Egypt's global co-operation minister recently hit out at Musk, all the while inviting him to visit the pyramids.

But the billionaire entrepreneur, known for making sometimes erratic tweets, couldn't shake off the original comment about aliens.

'What you said about the pyramids is completely hallucination, the pyramids are built by Egyptians, ' the archaeologist wrote.

Egyptians built the pyramids thousands of years ago mainly to be used a tombs for their pharaohs. Some say there couldn't be a greater union than these two males, who've carved out their public messages to help the preservation of nature.

The remains of a ramp system were unearthed at the time in an ancient quarry in the Eastern Desert, according to Live Science.
