The Virginia Department of Health is reporting 90,801 total cases of coronavirus in the commonwealth as of Saturday morning.

There were no new death certificates received by the department related to COVID-19.

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo issued an executive order on June 24 that requires individuals traveling to ny from states with high COVID-19 rates to quarantine for 14 days.

Statewide, DHHS reported 1,341 new cases Sunday, for a total of 125,219, and five more deaths, for a total of 1,969. The quarantine applies to any person arriving from a state with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average. In Mecklenburg, three out of four people who tested positive have met the criteria to end isolation, according to local health officials.

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department on Sunday reported 44 new cases in their area, bringing the community's total number of COVID-19 cases to 3,118. There have been 28 coronavirus-associated deaths in Burke County and six people were hospitalized. Locally, in previous updates, the state said 11 deaths were reported in Northumberland County, two in Snyder County, two in Union County, and three in Montour County. There were 20 people hospitalized and at least 477 patients had recovered. Still, three deaths recorded as of July 29 were among people with no known underlying conditions.
