Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt admitted to Mumbai hospital, tests negative for Covid

The 61-year-old actor is admitted to the non-COVID ICU ward as of now.

The news reports also stated that the actor was tested for COVID 19 via the rapid antigen test. Dutt has been admitted after he complained of breathlessness.


Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt shared a tweet with an update on his health.

"He is stable", said hospital's Chief Operating Officer Dr V Ravishankar. However, he has been tested negative for Coronavirus.


Indian actor Sanjay Dutt on Saturday said he has tested negative for COVID-19 but still remains under medical observation. He has gone for a full check-up. "He is absolutely fine and being treated for mild breathlessness", the official told PTI. He has two sisters - Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. He also has a daughter, Trishala Dutt, from his first marriage to Richa Sharma.

On the work front, Sanjay is now awaiting the release of "Sadak 2" and Ajay Devgn-starrer "Bhuj: The Pride of India", which will premiere on Disney+Hotstar.


Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama Panipat, in which he co-starred with Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
