The show comes a month later than Ubisoft's traditionally scheduled announcements, and amidst the turmoil of a mass clearout within Ubisoft. In fact, we have a lot more to come. We got new footage of the upcoming Watch_Dogs: Legion, an open-world action title where you control a group of network hacking freedom fighters as they rebel against an oppressive police state in a dystopian London.

Where may i watch the Ubisoft event?

Ubisoft Forward is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, 2020, and will start at the following times.

The Ubisoft event will be hosted on several platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, and Ubisoft's website.

For starters, we fully expect to see more from Assassin's Creed Vahalla. Far Cry 6 will support a complimentary digital upgrade from PS4 to PS5, so it's most likely the exact same will be true for Valhalla.

During a recent interview with the Washington Post, the game's creative director, Ashraf Ismail, talked about why Ubisoft chose to go with the Viking Age as the setting for their next Assassin's Creed title.

Watch Dogs: Legion unfolds in the aftermath of bombings that have shaken London to its core.

If you're watching on Twitch, make sure to link your Ubisoft account to Twitch in order to earn the overall game via a Twitch Drop. The company even went as far as to confirm that Assassin's Creed Valhalla would run at 4K resolution on Xbox Series X and feature high dynamic range (HDR) visuals.

We'll see you later on today as we cover Ubisoft Forward via our Livestream. Users who login with their uPlay account during the show will get a free copy of Watch Dogs 2, provided you're logged in for at least 60 seconds.
