Sushant Singh Rajput death: Police summon Rhea Chakrabortys brother Showik

The police have so far recorded statements of 28 people.

Earlier on Tuesday, Mumbai police recorded the statement of newbie Sanjana Sanghi in connection with Sushant's death case. The national award-winning director had indicated in a tweet after his death that the actor was upset and "would weep on my shoulder". She was questioned by the police for about 10 hours and the paparazzi even clicked her pictures and videos while she made her way in and out of the police station. An investigation is underway.

After calling Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide a "make of the eye", veteran actor Shekhar Suman recently visited the actor's family in Patna and conducted a press conference along with former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav.

"I knew the pain you were going through". After Sushant's death, he tweeted that he "knew the story of the people that let him down as he would weep on his shoulder". I wish I was around the last 6 months.

Indian police have summoned actress Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty for questioning in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Indian media reported. His nails were also clean and the death happened due to suicide and no other foul play.

Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law Vishal Kirti has announced the launch of Nepometer, a platform which will provide rating for movies and TV projects based on how nepotistic or independent their crew is. His third film, "Paani", to be directed by Mr Kapur, was shelved; the production house reportedly backed out, news agency PTI reported.
