Shortly after Poco India officially announced that the M2 Pro was coming on July 7 (via an online event), the phone in question is now spotted on Geekbench. This handset has been in the leaks for a while now. The company has shared a "block your date" invite revealing that Poco M2 Pro will launch in India on July 7.

The microsite on Flipkart doesn't reveal anything in terms of specs of the Poco M2 Pro, however, it does hint that the handset will be well endowed in terms of battery and processor. The smartphone is likely to sit above the Poco X2.

The brand has posted a single video teaser and published a microsite on Flipkart where it will be made available for purchase. Thanks to the new benchmark results, we now know the M2 Pro will come with 6GB of RAM. According to XDA, the Poco M2 Pro may be a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro, which advertises 30-watt fast charging.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a glass back with Aura Balance design and features a quad camera setup at the back.

On the other hand, the brand claims the handset to be developed specifically for India.
