The panel is HDR 10 compliant and boasts a 21:9 aspect ratio. But later it was revealed that it will come as the Moto G Plus 5G. In addition to it featuring a 90Hz refresh rate for buttery smooth animations, you'll also find two front-facing cameras as evident by the dual hole-punch cutouts.

Moto G 5G Plus has reportedly surfaced on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and TUV Rheinland certification sites, therefore hinting at some of the phone's limited specifications. That said, the Moto G 5G Plus will only support sub-6GHz 5G connections since most carriers outside the USA are focused on building robust low-band 5G networks before they transition to mid band and mmWave. The listing suggests that it will have a 5,000mAh battery, similar to many budget phones. However, not much information was available surrounding the Moto G 5G Plus. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus is also related to assisting Galileo, GLONASS, and Global Positioning System navigation. Coming to the Geekbench listing, the phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm SoC that has a base frequency of 1.8GHz. If you happen to live in any of those locations, sales begin on July 8, and pricing starts at €349 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model and goes up to just €399 if you want 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

Thanks to the 5G tag on their names, both these new Moto G phones will support 5G networks and will most likely be heading for the United States and European markets first. The TUV Rheinland listing also claimed that the phone is fuelled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 4,700 mAh rated capacity and it will offer a 20W rapid charger. It was added that that Motorola could still launch Motorola Edge Lite for Verizon in the U.S. with model number XT2075-1.

Motorola has a launch event that is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 3 PM CET.

On the other side, the Motorola Moto G 5G expected to feature a quad-camera setup at the back which is equipped with a Samsung GM1 48MP main sensor and a 4MP macro shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and another 2MP depth sensor. The new handset comes with a quad-rear camera, a big 5,000mAh battery, and one of the phones launched with a pop-up selfie camera this year.

On the software side, we have the same clean build of Android 10 with some slight Moto enhancements now called My UX.
