Lycoming County five new COVID-19 cases

Four more COVID-19 cases in Bureau County have been recorded on the Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Department. Both are recovering in isolation, per the Livingston County Health Department.


Three children under the age of 13 and a male in his 40s, all from Bureau County, have tested positive for COVID-19. There are now currently three active COVID-19 cases in Marshall County and six active cases in Bureau County. Some of the new cases are household contacts of previously confirmed cases, some are from people meeting up with friends, others are from work and "the rest have been exposed in the community", she wrote. No further information regarding the investigation is available at this time.


Two additional residents of Livingston County have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the Livingston County Health Department reported Tuesday, bringing the county's running total to 47. In just the last week of June, the county tallied 122 cases.


Lycoming County has had 187 positive cases to date, Clinton 80 cases, Sullivan five cases and Tioga 25 cases. 60 in Northumberland County, eight in Montour County, eight new cases in Union County, and two new cases in Snyder County in the past two weeks.
