Little else is known about the game, but Video Games Deluxe is now hiring for the project, seeking senior programmers, an animator, an engine programmer, and a designer to work on it.

The studio has posted job offers to fill roles it needs to embark on this new journey with GTA creators.

The developer of LA Noire VR has revealed that they are working on a AAA open world VR game for GTA developer Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games has entrusted the development of a new game for Virtual Reality to Video Games Deluxe, a studio founded by Creative Director by Team Bondi Brendan McNamara formerly responsible for L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for PC and PlayStation 4. "If you are interested in one of these positions or would like two speak to someone who works here about VGD please get in touch", The LinkedIn post reads.

LA Noire: The VR Case Files was an interesting take on Rockstars investigative crime series.

Some speculate that this VR game could be a VR version of either Grand Theft Auto 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2.

Recently, Video Games Deluxe posted a hiring call on its LinkedIn profile.

Video Games Deluxe has exclusively worked with Rockstar for the past seven years.

This could mean that the developer is working on an original IP now or it could also mean a VR mechanic for existing titles from Rockstar. This has led to many fans wondering how on earth Rockstar could possibly hope to continue pushing a game that'll be 8 years old by the time the PS5 edition drops.

More than anything else, the very idea of an open VR world from Video Games Deluxe and Rockstar sounds intriguing. It's quite unlike any other VR experience.
