As teased over the past few days, the song is mixed by Dr. Dre and features a verse from Ye's semi-brother-in-law, Travis Scott. On June 30, 2020, the superstar musician released a new song, "Wash Us in the Blood", accompanied by a music video that is a hard-hitting mosaic of footage from recent protests across the US.

The new track, the first released from the born-again rapper's planned 10th album "God's Country", features lyrics with heavily biblical overtones, in line with his musical turn to Christianity in recent years.

Kanye West has been watching what's going on in the world, and he has some characteristically complicated thoughts.

At the end of the visual, the Grammy victor and Kim Kardashian's 7-year-old daughter North West makes a cameo in a video clip from her dad's Sunday Service rehearsals.

On the heels of his big announcement with Gap, Kanye West just dropped a new record with Travis Scott.

In an interview with GQ earlier this year, Kanye said, "I was thinking of not rapping again, because I rapped for the devil so long that I didn't even know how to rap for God". And that one thing made the difference. "Wash us in the blood / Whole life being thugs / No choice, sellin" drugs / Genocide, what it does / Mass incarc, what it does / "Cause a cause, what it does / "Nother life bein" lost".
