Prince Andrew is "bewildered" by U.S. prosecutors' claims that he is running shy of giving his version of events.

Spencer Coogan - another lawyer for Epstein's alleged victims - said his clients were "relieved" that Maxwell had finally been arrested. "It's just not fair".

Federal prosecutors have now revealed how Maxwell, who has been accused of aiding Epstein in grooming girls as young as 14 for his sexual obsessions, has managed to evade arrest since July a year ago when charges against the convicted sex offender were made public. On behalf of the victims we have continuously asked him to step forward, step up, be a man and tell us what he knows.

Prince Andrew's representatives claim they never received a response from the Justice Department.

"The victims want the truth, they want the transparency, they want him to tell law enforcement what he knows".

As a monarch-in-waiting, one of Prince William's toughest problems has been how to protect the future of the Royal Family while staying true to family bonds.

Prince Andrew had a high-profile friendship with Epstein for many years, even after the financier was accused of a litany of sex crimes involving underage girls in 2005.

The unnamed agent who sold the property told CNBC that she thought the buyer was an actress.

Ms Bloom added: 'From the point of view of the victims that I represent, it's time for justice.

The Duke of York was accused of subjecting alleged victims of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein to a "torture test" by his silence as lawyers for the women increased the pressure following the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell.

The 58-year-old was charged on multiple counts, including enticing a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and perjury. "I think anyone who was involved with Jeffrey Epstein in the scheme of these indictments, I think all of them should be anxious, yes", he said.

These include residences in New York City, Palm Beach in Florida and Santa Fe in New Mexico, as well as Maxwell's personal residence in London, prosecutors allege.

The new season also will examine the fallout around the people who helped Epstein perpetrate one of the largest sex-trafficking rings in history.

The Duke of York had also strenuously denied any knowledge of wrongdoing by his former close friend, and was forced to deny that he himself had been sexually involved with an underage girl, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who he had met through Epstein.

Ghislaine Maxwell "assisted, facilitated, and contributed to Jeffrey Epstein's abuse of minor girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to recruit, groom and ultimately abuse victims known to Maxwell and Epstein to be under the age of 18", according to the indictment.

He also claimed he remembered being at a Pizza Express in Woking on the exact date he was alleged to have had sex with 17-year-old Virginia in London on 10 March, 2001.

Andrew categorically denies he had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Ms Giuffre, while his lawyers have insisted the duke has repeatedly offered to provide a witness statement to the investigation.
