Developed by Media Molecule-who are also the brains behind LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway-it broke new ground in player immersion, interaction across the gaming community and creativity.

This VR expansion is called "Inside The Box" and it'll bring new tutorials, how-to guides, and kits to help users to create things with the PSVR system.

Dreams isn't just a way to play games, mind - it can be used to create them, and you will also be able to make games in VR. You can expect builds of VR creations Media Molecule has pre-made, so you can get your feet wet into creating new types of experiences for VR. One of those experiences is Box Blaster which is a VR shooting experience inside Dreams.

Media Molecule has finally revealed a release date for PS VR Support for Dreams on the PS4.

Creators will be able to specify if their content is playable in VR or not, and UGC content in Dreams will ask for a comfort rating from players. Anyone can make a VR-centric experience using Dreams' tools.

While VR creations will probably take a few days to start populating the Dreamiverse, there will still be plenty of VR content to experience the moment the update drops. And if you've yet to dip your toe into the world of Dreams, don't forget you can try a (limited) free demo by heading over to the PlayStation Store. It even allows players to test out other projects.
