Chris Evans already misses playing Captain America

Expressing that he enjoyed great times with Marvel during an interview and already missed the role of Captain America, Chris Evans asked the fans to respect his decision, implying that he did not intend to return to the role.

Actor and producer Chris Evans ended his run as the MCU's Captain America in a manner that was as emotionally satisfying as it was visually spectacular. The actor had been teasing at departing from the function for years which got here to fruition on the finish of Avengers: Endgame the place the character retired and handed the Captain America mantle to Anthony Mackie's Falcon. He went on to reprise the role for its two sequels, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and all four of the Avengers films.

This isn't the first time that Evans has spoken about his time as Captain America coming to an end, as he told Graham Norton back in May that he thinks his time as the superhero is over.

"I completely beloved my time with Marvel; I already miss it. however there's no denying that it is rather thrilling to simply have full freedom to pursue no matter my artistic urge for food needs".

Evans also spoke about the importance of being able to experience empathy for others and for his roles, by listening to others, that aided him in turning Captain America into a three-dimensional character.
