Marrying into a family as famous as the Beckhams seems like it could be super intimidating, but lucky for Nicola Peltz, she already has her future mother-in-law Victoria's stamp of approval.

Victoria Beckham's son Brooklyn Beckham, 21, shared a photo of a large cocktail jug, followed by the first up-close sighting of Nicola's reported $200,000 engagement ring.

The son of legendary footballer David and fashion designer Victoria Beckham announced the happy news on Instagram this weekend. "I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day I love you baby", Brooklyn, 21, captioned an outdoor photo of him and his new fiancee gazing lovingly at each other. Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness.

One commenter wrote: "Victoria Beckham is that you?"

He wrote: "Congratulations to these two lovely people".

Shortly after his post, Victoria relayed the photo onto her own account in view of her 28.4 million followers. "As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys @brooklynbeckham @nicolaannepeltz @victoriabeckham", David wrote on Sunday morning. She appeared in Miley Cyrus" "7 Things" video back in 2008 and more recently as Zayn Malik's love interest in the video for his single "It's You'.

The American actress is known for her roles in hit TV series Bates Motel and the fourth Transformers film.

"Victoria no longer needs to exclusively pay for a bodyguard or driver for Brooklyn, for example, because Nicola's dad Nelson is able to help take care of the security and drivers who are needed to keep them safe".

Nicola is the daughter of billionaire business tycoon Nelson Peltz and his wife Claudia and has eight half brothers and sisters. Your love is the most precious gift.

To which she replied: "You make everything better".

Nicola was definitely very appreciative of the sweet words and made sure to respond with four heart emojis in the comment section.

"A few of his friends have teased him about it but Brooklyn is adamant that there is nothing "Oedipal" about it", a source told The Sun in October previous year.
