The ROG Phone 3 is the next big reveal we're expecting this month.

Last week Asus said it will unveil the ROG Phone 3 in July and today the Taiwanese technology company announced the gaming smartphone will arrive on July 22.

The launch event will take place in the three countries - Taiwan, Italy, and NY.

Asus may also ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack this time with the ROG Phone III. There also may be the announcement about a new gaming accessory for the upcoming gaming phone. The image shows a smartphone that looks largely similar to its predecessor, but the specs in the TENAA listing indicates that it's far more powerful than the previous model. In 2018, the first ROG Phone featured an overclocked Snapdragon 845 and a 90Hz AMOLED display, and in 2019, the refresh rate was bumped up to 120Hz, the battery grew to 6,000mAh, and the phone was launched in India at a super-competitive price.

For the software, the Asus ROG Phone 3 will run Android 10 out of the box and will be backed up by a 6000mAh battery with 30W HyperCharge fast charging.

The Galaxy Note 20 is aiming at a different audience to the ROG Phone 3.

The phone expected to get power from the Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Regarding the internal storage, the phone is speculated to come with native non-expandable storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. So when will the third-generation gaming phone be unveiled?
